This is what happens when a pathological do-it-yourselfer science geek retires.   

 It's been over twelve years since I started beekeeping and I am still totally fascinated by these tiny wonders of God's creation.

. Up until now, I've been selling honey exclusively at farmers' markets and I have developed quite a following of loyal customers.  

 I harvest my honey from the area along the Wilmington River on the eastern outskirts of Savannah.  The coastal floral sources here produce a rich, almost buttery- tasting honey with distinct floral tones.
